#### Overview
**Procurement of the Acacia Substation 33kV Cable System, including supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 44kV XLPE HV cable systems and associated terminations for the Windermere feeders at Acacia substation.** Bidders with HV cable installation experience (33kV/44kV XLPE, cable terminations, earthing, testing and commissioning) and capability to meet Eskom environmental, safety and contract requirements should bid. #### Requirements
- Manufacturing, testing and supply of 44kV XLPE cable and 44kV cable sealing ends (terminations).  
- Design review, engineering support and site design deliverables for Windermere 1 & 2 projects.  
- Site works: route surveying, trenching, laying, backfilling, cable termination, earthing, bonding, and testing.  
- Testing and commissioning, including VLF testing and PD testing; full post-installation acceptance.  
- Compliance with Eskom environmental standards and EMS/ISO 14001 requirements, and related proformas.  
- Adherence to NEC3 ECC3 framework and related Contract Data; preparation of method statements and risk registers.  
- CIDB registration (if applicable) and standard tender disclosures (e.g., NDA and environmental/BBEE requirements).  
- Documentation regarding environmental and safety commitments (EMS, EMPr, Waste Management, etc.).
