## Summary

#### Overview
**Mintek seeks to appoint a Personal Protection and Tactical Security Service Provider for site visits and investigations of derelict holings, delivering transport, reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, surveillance and counter-threat capabilities.** The contract runs for 36 months and targets security providers with mining-sector PSIRA credentials and the ability to deploy armored escort vehicles.

#### Requirements
- Mandatory pre-qualification
- Valid letter of good standing with the Compensation Fund
- Valid PSIRA letter of good standing
- PSIRA company registration as Security Service Provider
- PSIRA registrations for all owners/directors
- 2 x Security Supervisors (PSIRA Grade A)
- 8 x Tactical Armed Security Officers (PSIRA Grade B)
- Escort vehicles: 4x4 double-cab high-rise; 1 armored vehicle (Nyala); lease proof if needed; MIB certificate for armored vehicle (minimum B4)
- Designated Firearm Officer (DFO) registry: 12 shotguns, 30 semi-auto rifles, 20 semi-auto handguns
- Site establishment requirements: 24-hour lighting, toilets, water, power
- Health, safety and environmental compliance; medicals; non-disclosure agreement
- Liability insurance including SASRIA (minimum R5 million per claim)
- Tax compliance status (TCS/pin or CSD); VAT registration
- Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; JV/consortium documentation if applicable
- References: detailed letters on tactical response in mining/illegal mining contexts
