## Summary

#### Overview
**Appointment of a professional service provider to manage, operate and maintain Potchefstroom Water Treatment Works and associated bulk infrastructure for three years.** The JB Marks Local Municipality seeks an operator with water treatment, maintenance, asset management, SCADA/telemetry, laboratory testing, safety and contract-management capabilities to run Potchefstroom WTW (design capacity 90 Ml/d). (TENDER 66 2026)

#### Requirements
- Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) or SARS PIN; separate TCS/CSD when applicable (consortia).  
- Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and verification with JB Marks SCM.  
- CIDB grading: Not Applicable.  
- Completion and signing of mandatory forms (MBD 1, MBD 3.1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 7.1, MBD 8, MBD 9) and annexes, plus company/profile docs.  
- Current landlord/rates and taxes proof if leased; due diligence on municipal rates.  
- Bid validity: 120 days; ability to start within 2 weeks of award; contract adherence and non-performance penalties.
