- Registration on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and provide CSD number; ensure data is up to date.
- Tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or provide CSD if no PIN; provide separate TCS/PIN for joint ventures/subcontractors.
- Complete official bidding documents: SBD 1 (Invitation to Bid), SBD 3.3 Pricing Schedule, SBD 4 Bidder’s Disclosure, SBD 6.1 (Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022) forms.
- B-BBEE: provide Sworn Affidavit or B-BBEE Status Certificate; claim points with proof.
- For foreign bidders: respond to the foreign supplier questionnaire included in the bid documents.
- Compliance with Treasury/PPF/Manger rules and compulsory briefing attendance as stipulated.
