## Summary

#### Overview
**The CMS seeks a service provider to maintain and repair electrical installations and services at the CMS building for a period of 3 years.** The contract covers electrical maintenance, repairs, emergency services, and supply of electrical materials for a commercial building; intended bidders are experienced electrical service providers with CIDB Grade 1 EB or higher and appropriately qualified electricians.

#### Requirements
- CIDB registration: current CIDB Grade 1 EB (or higher) or higher; provide valid CIDB certificate or registration report.
- Technical qualifications: valid Electrical Trade Test Certificate or Wireman’s License for personnel performing/supervising work.
- Experience: minimum of two reference letters/completion certificates for electrical installation/maintenance/commissioning (2018–present).
- Compliance: SARS tax compliance (PIN) and/or provision of CSD number; registration on CSD if no TCS.
- Compliance documents: valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; SBD 6.1 completed; attach IDs/CIPC docs for specific goals as required.
- Insurance: public liability cover of at least R5,000,000; COIDA Letter of Good Standing valid for the contract term.
- Health & safety: adequate H&S procedures, risk assessments, PPE, and access equipment; scaffolding/high-level access capable.
- Capacity: ability to provide emergency call-outs, supply of materials, and maintain electrical installations in an office-building context; relevant licenses and references available.
