**APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE REHABILITATION OF SERVICE ROADS ON AN “AS AND WHEN BASIS” FOR 36 MONTHS IN THE METRORAIL GAUTENG REGION.** PRASA seeks a qualified contractor to upgrade gravel and tar service roads, maintain drainage, and support Perway works in Gauteng North and Gauteng South on an ongoing basis.

Who should bid: contractors with CIDB 7CE or higher, experienced in road rehabilitation, gravel regravelling, asphalt surfacing, drainage works, earthworks, and railway track-safety compliance (two teams required, one in Gauteng North and one in Gauteng South).

#### Requirements
- CIDB grading of 7CE or higher.
- Attendance at compulsory briefing session (Form D).
- Site Access Certificate required before work starts.
- Full-time on-site Health and Safety Officer; dedicated flagmen as needed.
- Safety File approved by PRASA Risk; Site Instruction Book and Site Diary maintained.
- Compliance with applicable statutes and standards (OHS Act, SPK7, E7/2; track safety guidance).
- Minimum plant/equipment: road grader, 25-ton excavator, tractor loader backhoe, tipper, etc., provided as needed.
- Qualified key personnel: Civil Engineering Technician, Health & Safety Officer, Plant Operator; flagmen with certified competency.
- Insurance and security: COID, SARS PIN, CSD registration; 10% Performance Bond; applicable public liability cover.
- Pricing valid for 36 months; no contract price adjustment; progress-based payment; monthly certificates.
- Specific BBEE goals: 80/20 points system (e.g., Black Women Owned, Black Youth Owned, EME/QSE ownership).
