## Summary

#### Overview
**Bergrivier Municipality invites bids for the replacement, testing and commissioning of an 11 kV protection relay at Porterville Main Switching Station.** Bidders should be competent service providers with 11 kV protection relay experience, preferably with Siemens Reyrolle 7SR5110-1AA11-1AA0 or an approved equivalent, and must comply with local SCM rules (CSD/TCS) and BBBEE requirements. Pricing must be fixed and VAT-inclusive where applicable, with evaluation under the municipality’s PPPFA framework (80/20). 

#### Requirements
- Replacement, installation, programming, testing and commissioning of one 11 kV protection relay (Siemens Reyrolle 7SR5110-1AA11-1AA0 or approved equivalent); removal of the existing relay; wiring/CT tracing; and handover with test certificates and final reports. 
- Compliance with safety and electrical switching procedures; site access and implementation of an approved switching program. 
- Demonstrated 11 kV MV protection systems competency; calibrated test equipment; qualified personnel. 
- Administrative/pre-qualifications: registration on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD); Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD number; original B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; VAT registration where applicable; completion of SCM/PPPFA forms (MBD 1, 4, 6.1, 7.1, 8–10) as part of bid documentation.
