## Summary

#### Overview
**RFQ for the supply and delivery of a humanoid robot.** Bidders must be OEM/OSM or authorised distributors (or authorised by them) with capability to configure, supply, install, support and train on a humanoid robotics solution compatible with ROS/ROS2, Linux, and a developer SDK. The robot must meet detailed technical specs, including bipedal mobility, 1.2–1.5 m height, 30–55 kg weight, 2–4 hours battery life, 12-month warranty, and 80% resemblance to the reference design.

#### Requirements
- Mandatory accreditation: bidder must be OEM/OSM or authorised distributor; provide proof (certificate/letter) from the product owner; if using a distributor, provide two letters (OEM authorisation to distribute; distributor authorisation to resell/maintain). (ANNEXURE A, RFQ/MICT/37/2026)
- Technical compliance: must meet full humanoid specs (structure, DOF, sensors, power, processing, connectivity, interaction, SDK/ROS support, warranty and training). 80% resemblance to Figure 1 required.
- Documentation and registrations: bid must include Pricing Schedule, valid Tax Clearance, CSD registration, SBD forms, Certified IDs for directors, CIPC documents, Shareholding Certificate, Form A.
- Evaluation: 80/20 price vs. specific goals; 51% historically disadvantaged ownership flags (with supporting docs); 80/20 system applies for bids up to R50M.
