## Summary

#### Overview
**Appointment of a service provider for the supply and delivery of water and wastewater chemicals for a period of 36 months, as and when required.** Open to bidders registered on the Central Supplier Database who meet statutory/tender requirements (tax clearance, municipal accounts, CIPC/ID, COIDA/UIF, etc.). Closing 03 August 2026 at 12:00; electronic submission accepted.

#### Requirements
- Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and proof of registration.  
- Tax compliance: SARS Tax Clearance Certificate or Tax Compliance Status PIN (and for JVs, per member).  
- Municipal rates/charges: current municipal account in the entity’s name, not older than 3 months and not in arrears for more than 3 months (special provisions for rural contexts).  
- Proof of COIDA and UIF compliance.  
- Certified copies of IDs for directors/members and valid CIPC/company registration documents.  
- Declaration of interest (MBD4) and Preference/BBEE documents (MBD6.1, MBD6.2, MBD9 as applicable).  
- Experience of tendering entity on similar works, and key personnel; jar test results (Jar Test) and pricing schedules (MBD3.1).  
- SABS-approved products and relevant local content where applicable.  
- Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Commissioner; for JV/consortium, separate letters for each member.  
- Additional returnables: addenda records, JV agreements (if any), and proof of past SCM practices.
