**APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND OFFLOADING OF BALLAST IN THE METRORAIL GAUTENG REGION ON AN “AS AND WHEN REQUIRED BASIS” FOR A PERIOD OF THIRTY-SIX (36) MONTHS.** Bidders should have ballast supply/rail logistics capability and comply with SA safety, procurement, and BBBEE requirements to support PRASA’s perway maintenance in Gauteng.

#### Requirements
- CIDB registration (appropriate to ballast/rail works) and demonstrable capacity for ballast supply.
- Registration on CSD and Tax Compliance status (PIN/TCS) for SA SARS verification.
- BBBEE status certificate or sworn affidavit.
- Sufficient insurances and safety/safety-regulation compliance (OHSA/Construction Regulations).
- Ability to load ballast onto AY wagons and/or deliver by road to PRASA stockpiles as required.
- Attendance at compulsory briefing and compliance with PRASA bidding rules (no collusion, etc.).
