**Appointment of service provider(s) for referral and sub-contracting services on testing of potable water, raw water, wastewater and sludge samples for the GSDM Water Quality Laboratory for a period of three years.** (RE-ADVERT – GSDM82/2024)

This is a three-year contract for referral and subcontracted testing capacity to support the GSDM Water Quality Laboratory; work includes potable water, raw water, wastewater and sludge determinands, with in-house and on-call subcontracting arrangements. Mandatory briefing 10 Jun 2026; closing 26 Jun 2026; Ermelo, SA.

#### Requirements
- ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation (SANAS) for the testing activities; schedule of accreditation to be provided.
- Capacity to perform referral and subcontracting determinands, including approx. 150 potable/raw/wastewater samples weekly and ~50 sludge samples annually; on-call subcontracting with 24-hour turn-around; reports emailed within 10 days, originals on delivery.
- Compliance: Tax compliance (SARS PIN), CSD registration; municipal clearance; BBBEE status; no bids from state employees; complete MBD forms and returnable documents.
- Evaluation: 80/20 price and preference scoring; minimum functionality threshold 30/40; distance to WQ Lab may affect points.
