**Extension of Solar PV systems at multiple University of Johannesburg sites under an EPC contract, including DFC John Orr Building, JBS Park Solar & BESS, DFC Robin Crest, QK Building and Kopano Residence.** Bidders should be capable solar EPCs with end-to-end design, procurement, installation and maintenance, including grid-tied PV and battery storage, ballasted mounting, and integration into a 400V Main DB. Key qualifications include an **ECSA-registered electrical engineer** (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng) and compliance with SANS/IEC/NRS standards; evidence of registration on the National Treasury CSD, valid SARS Tax Compliance Status, COIDA/FEM, and BBBEE status. Mandatory tender documentation, a pricing schedule and company registrations are required, with scope and technical criteria detailed in Annexure A (see Annexure A - RFP UJ 91 2026.pdf). - B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; bank details verification; copies of directors/owners IDs; signatory resolution
- Fully completed forms and attachments; documentation must be current (≤6 months)
- 12-month O&M plan; 5-year defect liability; site-specific technical and safety compliance per Annexure A
