**Appointment of a service provider to conduct an assessment study of gender matters in the South African film industry for 2026/2027.** NFVF seeks a professional research firm with expertise in social sciences, gender studies and the film sector to design and execute an inception study, benchmarking, data collection (surveys, focus groups, interviews), stakeholder validation, and a final report with policy recommendations, delivered within 12 weeks. Bidders should have demonstrable research track record in film/TV, strong project leadership, and the ability to produce actionable industry insights.

#### Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in conducting similar research in film/television, social sciences, gender studies; provide a company profile detailing track record.
- Project Leader with relevant experience; provide CV showing years of research experience.
- Methodology: mixed qualitative/quantitative design, realistic timelines, nationally representative sampling, clear objectives and deliverables; include references.
- References: client letters/references with contact details (not more than 5 years old).
- Administrative/compliance: proof of CSD registration; original Tax Clearance Certificate; B-BBEE certificate; certified company registrations and directors; VAT where applicable; etc.
- Pricing: complete SBD pricing schedule; indicate total price for the project and required returnable documents; VAT and related costs clearly shown.
- Additional: ability to deliver within the specified 12-week timeframe and participate in a stakeholder workshop; potential for site visits or contract amendments as per GCC terms.
