**APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO CONDUCT AVIFAUNAL MONITORING ON SAFCOL PLANTATIONS FOR 2026/27.** SAFCOL seeks quotations from a suitably qualified Natural Scientist to conduct avifaunal monitoring on Komatiland Forest plantations (Entabeni, Hanglip, Roodewal, Roburnia). Bid teams should be SACNASP-registered environmental/science professionals with proven survey experience; deliver a concise report including methodology, a comprehensive species list by habitat, red data species notes, habitat quality assessment, GPS coordinates of raptor nests, and management recommendations. Bidders must meet mandatory regulatory prerequisites (tax, CSD, BBBEE) and quote a cost per plantation.

#### Requirements
- SACNASP registration for the project leader
- Latest BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Valid Tax Clearance certificate
- Proof of CSD registration (supplier number and unique reference)
- Demonstrated environmental/ecological/zoology experience with at least 1 reference letter
- CV of the project manager/leader with relevant qualifications
- Completion and submission of all SBD forms on company letterhead
