## Summary

#### Overview
**SAFCOL seeks a service provider to conduct herpetological surveys on selected plantations for the 2026/27 period.** The project covers Nelshoogte, Witklip and Brooklands plantations in Mpumalanga, requires desktop and field components, and must deliver a final concise report by 15 March 2027 with invoicing on completion and payment within 30 days. #### Requirements
- SACNASP registration for the project manager/leader; proof of current registration.
- Latest BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; must be included with quotation.
- Valid Tax Clearance certificate.
- Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with Supplier Number and Unique Registration Reference; ensure tax status is up to date on the CSD.
- Demonstrated past experience in herpetological monitoring (within the last five years); at least one reference letter.
- CV for the project manager/leader showing relevant qualifications (environmental/conservation/ecology/zoology).
- Quotation to be submitted by 31 August 2026; all SBD documents to be signed and included.
- Evidence of required registration and pre-qualifications as specified by SAFCOL.
- Note: KLF SHEQ will supply plantation shapefiles on signing a confidentiality agreement; access permits may be required.
