## Summary

#### Overview
**The SABS invites a service provider to facilitate a two-day Strategic Risk Workshop and produce a Strategic Risk Register aligned to the organization's objectives.** Suitable bidders should have risk management expertise, experience facilitating strategic workshops (ISO 31000 or similar), and relevant public-sector governance knowledge, with qualifications/certifications in risk management and evidence of prior work.

#### Requirements
- Plan and facilitate a Strategic Risk Workshop with SABS management and Board Audit and Risk Committee.
- Guide identification and assessment of strategic risks; align risks to objectives, APP, and risk appetite.
- Compile/present a Comprehensive Strategic Risk Workshop Report with risk profiles, ratings, and KPIs/KRIs; include risk appetite/tolerance per risk.
- Include upside (positive risk outcomes) in the deliverables.
- Provide evidence of qualifications/certifications in Risk Management (e.g., CRM, IRMSA, ISO 31000 training) and SA QA evaluation for foreign qualifications, if any.
- Functional evaluation criteria include: three or more contactable reference letters; methodology addressing ISO 31000 and Treasury regs; project timeline; facilitator qualifications; facilitator’s risk-management experience; and membership in The Risk Management Institute of South Africa or equivalent.

- Evaluation weights (tied to Annexed criteria): references 30%, methodology 30%, qualifications 15%, facilitator experience 15%, professional membership 10% (minimum threshold 70%).
