**APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO FACILITATE AND DEVELOP THE INFORMATION GOVERNANCE (IG) STRATEGY FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, TOURISM AND ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS FOR A PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS.** This RFQ is issued by KwaZulu-Natal EDT&E A and targets professional services to develop and facilitate the IG strategy; suitable for consultants with information governance, data governance, and strategic advisory capabilities in the public sector. Briefing is mandatory; the process closes 16 July 2026.

#### Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating and developing IG/information governance strategies for public-sector or large organizations.
- Ability to deliver a complete IG strategy, including TOR alignment (Annexure A) and implementation roadmaps.
- Qualified project team with CVs in the prescribed format (Annexure C).
- Compliance: Tax via SARS PIN/TCS, or CSD registration (with separate TCS/CSD IDs for partners in a JV); non-compliance invalidates the bid.
- Compliance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations (80/20) and ability to claim specific-goal preferences with supporting documentation (Annexure J).
