## Summary

#### Overview
**APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO RENDER MAINTENANCE TO EXISTING ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEM INCLUDING PROCUREMENT, DELIVERY, REPLACEMENT, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF ANY NEW ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEM WHEN REQUIRED AT THE NATIONAL DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS.** This is a maintenance and systems integration contract for the National Department of Transport, covering maintenance of existing electronic security systems and procurement/installation of any new systems as required (36 months). Suitable bidders are security systems integrators with capability in maintenance, procurement, delivery, installation and commissioning of electronic security solutions.

#### Requirements
- Submit SBD 1 as part of the technical proposal; ensure all required forms are completed.
- Submit SBD 6.1 (BBBEE) with the proposal (both JV/subcontractors if applicable).
- Provide an original Tax Clearance Certificate; attach updated CSD report (for JV/consortium, each party submits its own CSD/Tax clearance).
- Complete Annexure D (Company Experience, Proposed Team, and Team Experience) and attach certified qualifications for team members.
- Complete the Pricing Schedule (Annexure B; B-Summary, B1/B2). Sign all paper copies; pricing must be in ZAR, VAT excluded in inputs (VAT calculated in template).
