**The SA Bureau of Standards invites qualified service providers to supply and deliver an Impact Hammer Verification Kit.** Suitable bidders are entities in measurement/instrumentation supply, calibration, metrology, or conformity assessment labs with capabilities for commissioning, training, and ILAC-related calibration documentation.

#### Requirements
- Power: mains electricity, single phase 230V 50 Hz
- Energy range: 0–2 Joules, calibratable to common values (0.1, 0.2, 0.35, 0.7, 1, 2 J)
- Accuracy: ≥ 0.05 J
- Technology: digital display showing standard vs measured values, ability to perform multiple measurements and compute average/standard deviation, and store/retrieve verification values
- Commissioning: supplier available during assembly/commissioning; both SABS and supplier sign off
- Training: provide training for users (operational and maintenance) with accompanying documentation
- Documentation: equipment manual, software and safety instructions; training manual; ILAC-accredited calibration certificate (from country of origin); product brochure
- Timelines: Closing date 14 October 2026, 11:00; submissions by email
- Evaluation: 80/20 Preference Points (price vs. specific goals) with supporting proof
- Pre-qualifications: National Treasury CSD registration; BBBEE certificate or Sworn Affidavit; SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 forms
