**Procurement of a research services contract to undertake COE 240801 “ASSESS AND EVALUATE REAL-TIME OCCUPATIONAL HYGIENE MONITORING TECHNOLOGIES IN THE SOUTH AFRICAN MINING INDUSTRY AND DEVELOP BEST-PRACTICE GUIDANCE AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE REGULATORY FRAMEWORK.”** The Mine Health and Safety Council (MHSC) invites bids from entities with strong applied research and engineering capabilities to review RTM technologies, benchmark against international best practice, and develop regulatory guidance. Suitable bidders include firms with extensive literature-review, technology assessment, stakeholder engagement, and report-delivery capabilities, plus team experience in ventilation, occupational hygiene, and real-time monitoring.

#### Requirements
- Compliance with PFMA, GCC, and SBD documents; bids on official forms; 120-day bid validity.
- Tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD number; separate TCS for joint ventures; no bids from in-service/state affiliates.

- Evaluation: Stage 1 functionality (minimum 70% to progress) covering company experience, reference letters, team experience and qualifications, and project proposal quality; Stage 2 pricing and specific-goals (80/20 weighting).
- Pricing: complete SBD3 pricing; VAT where applicable; all costs including delivery/overheads.
