## Summary

#### Overview
**Appointment of service providers to assess, grade and design/specify the applicable furniture and provide the technical & costing documentation for furniture across Department of Tourism Cluster 1 and 2.** The DBSA seeks multidisciplinary interior-design/architecture and related advisory services to produce furniture designs, specifications, BoQs and costings, with deliverables including concepts, layouts and 3D renderings for multiple sites over a 12-month period; travel costs and per-vehicle rates apply. Bidders should possess registrations in key disciplines (architecture/interior architecture, quantity surveying, and a Tourism Grading Council assessor) and demonstrate relevant public-sector experience. 

#### Requirements
- Principal/Lead Consultant: Pr. Architect (SACAP) or equivalent; 8+ years post-registration; leadership of multidisciplinary interior-design teams. 
- Senior Interior Architect: BSc Arch or BSc Int Arch; 5+ years post-qualification; public-sector project experience. 
- Designer/Technologist: Pr. Arch. Technologist (SACAP); 3+ years post-registration. 
- Quantity Surveyor: SACQSP; degree; 10+ years post-qualification; SACQSP registered. 
- Tourism Grading Council Accredited Grading Assessor: 10+ years hospitality experience. 
- Compliance: CSD registration; SARS tax PIN; BBBEE certificate; tax clearance; professional registrations for key personnel; and other compulsory documents as per Part B. 
- Insurance: Public liability >= R1,000,000 per claim; Professional Indemnity >= R1,000,000 per claim. 
- Subcontracting: Max 25% to non-HDI entities when awarded. 
- Travel/fees: Per DPW kilometre rates for up to 2500cc; first 100 km included in professional fees; 12-month contract from signature. 
- Evaluation/Process: Two-envelope process; responsive/compliance first; then Price (80) and BBBEE (20); additional risk/verification checks; bid validity 120 days.
