- Mandatory eligibility: valid COIDA/Letter of Good Standing; CIDB Certificate 1SN or higher; tax compliance; registration on the Sentech Supplier Database; quotations on company letterhead; submission via email.
- Technical qualifications: CVs for foreman with relevant building/maintenance experience; proof of completed waterproofing projects; a detailed project programme (Gantt chart) showing critical path.
- Safety and compliance: site safety file, mast climber certificates for personnel, medical fitness certificates, public liability insurance, OH&S compliance undertaking, COID/FEM registration.
- Documentation to support bid: product data sheets, warranties, and evidence of inspections during execution; Schedule of Deviations (if any) as part of the Offer; Bar-chart execution programme.
- Price and procurement: bids in ZAR; ability to negotiate market-related prices; lowest price scores highly under 80/20 preference rules with BBBEE considerations.
