**The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) invites a quotation to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced service provider to carry out equipment repairs at SABS NETFA.** The scope covers generator overhauls and ongoing maintenance for the NETFA high-power laboratory (85 MVA generators and associated equipment); bidders should have a capable workshop, verifiable high‑power generator repair experience, and a formal SOP for service delivery.

#### Requirements
- Mandatory capability: own/operate or have confirmed access to a suitably equipped workshop/facility capable of assessing, dismantling, overhauling, repairing, reassembling and testing 85 MVA generators; submit a company profile.
- Experience: verifiable evidence of at least one project involving assessment/repair/overhaul of an 85 MVA+ generator; provide relevant reference letters or project completion certificates.
- Service capability: provide a detailed SOP demonstrating method, quality assurance, safety, and a current generator failure repair project programme with activities, durations, and milestones.
- Compliance documents: National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration report; valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; SBD 4 Bidder’s Disclosure Form; SBD 6.1 Preference Points Claim Form.
- Conditions: proposals must conform to SABS procurement terms; proposals valid for 120 days; no advance payments.

Notes: Evaluation weights are 70% (Company Experience) and 30% (Service Capability). Annexture A/B/C required as part of returnables.
