## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of a professional legal services firm or individual to initiate a disciplinary hearing as SAFCOL’s initiator, specializing in labour law.** The bidder must have deep labour-law expertise and experience in initiating/handling disciplinary actions at senior-management level in large organisations.

- Target bidders: legal firms or practitioners with extensive labour-law practice (minimum 15 years) and proven track record in high-level disciplinary proceedings (see Terms of Reference).
- Key deliverable: objective initiation and conduct of disciplinary proceedings in line with SAFCOL Policy and the Labour Relations Act.

#### Requirements
- Minimum 15 years active labour-law experience; demonstrable complex disciplinary actions against senior management in large organisations.
- Ability to analyse background documents, formulate charges, and present a complex case before a presiding officer.
- Up-to-date knowledge of applicable case law and procedural requirements.
- Proven ability to prepare/present a case to safeguard SAFCOL’s interests; adherence to the Legal Practice Act.
- Willingness to include necessary costs in the quotation for delivery of the services.
- Compliance documents and references: CVs, three signed reference letters, company documentation, and registration details (see Returnable Documents).

- Returnable documents:
  - Fully completed RFQ and official quotation on letterhead
  - Latest Tax Clearance
  - Latest SANAS-accredited BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (EME/QSE)
  - CSD Report (or MAAN number)
  - ID copies of company directors
  - All SBD forms signed (as applicable)
  - Proof of company registration documents
