**APPOINTMENT OF SERVICE PROVIDER TO RENDER GENERAL BUILDING MAINTENANCE FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS IN AREA 1.** The Department of Public Works and Infrastructure (Eastern Cape) invites CIDB-registered building maintenance bidders (3GB or higher; emerging 3PE or higher) to provide general building maintenance for 36 months in Area 1, Mthatha. Bid is 80/20 with preference points and may be awarded to more than one provider across Areas 1–5.

#### Requirements
- CIDB grading: 3GB or 3GB* or higher (Emerging: PE* or higher).
- Key personnel: 1 Bricklayer, 3 Plumbers, 3 Carpenters, 1 Painter, all trade-tested; submit trade certificates.
- Experience: at least 2 contactable references for similar projects each > R130,000.
- Fully priced BOQ/RPricing Schedule; complete documentation required.
- Administrative: proof of CIDB status or application within 21 working days; CSD registration; DPW-07 Form; DPW-09; DPW-21; PA-16; PA-40 (designated groups); COIDA good standing; security clearance if applicable.
- Commercial: project viability and financial capacity; market-related offers; adherence to deadlines.
- Compulsory clarifications/bid meeting as applicable; adherence to addenda.
- Objective Criteria may allow more than one award; if applicable, follow negotiation rules ( Areas 1–5).
