**APPOINTMENT OF SERVICE PROVIDER TO RENDER GENERAL BUILDING MAINTENANCE FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS IN AREA 5.** The contract targets a service provider to perform general building maintenance in Area 5 (Eastern Cape) for 36 months. Suitable bidders should have CIDB grading of 3GB or higher (3GB* for EMEs/QSEs) and proven maintenance/building trade capability.

#### Requirements
- CIDB grading: 3GB or higher (3GB* for EMEs/QSEs).  
- Competence of key personnel: at least 1 Bricklayer, 3 Plumbers, 3 Carpenters, 1 Painter, all with trade tests; certificates to be submitted.  
- Experience: 2 contactable references for completed maintenance/repair projects each > R130,000; references must respond.  
- Administrative: complete forms (PA-11, PA-15.1/15.2/15.3, DPW-07, DPW-09, DPW-16, DPW-21), proof of CIDB registration or upgrade, proof of CSD registration, COIDA good standing, and, if requested, fingerprints and security clearance.  
- Pricing: fully price the BOQ/Pricing Schedule; indicate provisional mark-up.  
- BBBEE: submit SANAS BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; designate ownership thresholds for specific goals if applicable.  
- Other: comply with compulsory bid criteria and records of addenda; attend if required.
