## Summary

#### Overview
**PRASA invites bids for As and When Required Sand Management and Maintenance at Simons Town for 24 months.** Open to South African-based bidders with CIDB grading 6SH or 6CE or higher; bidders must be tax/compliance verified (TCS/CSD) and compliant with SA SARS tax requirements.

#### Requirements
- CIDB grading 6SH or 6CE or higher. (see ANNEXURE 1)
- Tax compliance: provide SARS TCS PIN or CSD number; ensure SA tax compliance. 
- Open to SA-based bidders only. 
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety specification and PRASA SHE/OSHE requirements (Annexure 6) and related railway construction standards (SPK 7/1). 
- Use General Conditions of Contract GCC 3rd Edition (Annexure 8).

- Briefing session: Compulsory, 14 October 2026 (see ANNEXURE 1).

- Registrations/pre-qualifications: CIDB 6SH/6CE or higher; Tax Compliance (TCS/CSD) as per Annexure 2; consider Central Supplier Database status if no TCS PIN.
