## Summary

#### Overview
**SAAT seeks a service provider to perform a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of six forklifts to determine operating condition, faults, and required repairs.** Bidders with forklift diagnostics, inspection, and maintenance expertise and relevant certifications should consider bidding.

#### Requirements
- Critical criteria:
  - Proof of accreditation/registration/authorization where applicable
  - Demonstrated 2 years’ forklift diagnostics, inspection, and maintenance experience
  - Proof of qualified technicians with forklift system expertise
  - Health and Safety compliance
  - Valid Letter of Good Standing COID; valid forklift inspection/test certificate per OHS Act 85/Driven Machinery Regulations
  - Calibration certificates for testing equipment
  - Public Liability Insurance and COID/workers’ compensation compliance
- Required documentation (attach with proposal):
  - SARS Tax Clearance Certificate (or proof of application)
  - Tax Clearance Certificate
  - Valid BBB-EE certificate
  - SBD1 – Invitation to Bid
  - SBD4 – Declaration of Interest
  - CIPC document
- Scope/Deliverables:
  - Full diagnostic of six forklifts; detailed report per unit with faults, repairs, replacements
  - Optional detailed quotation for repairs if requested
- Procurement rules:
  - Preferential procurement: 80/20 for ≤R4m; 90/10 for >R4m
  - Non-exclusive agreement possible; confidentiality; arithmetical error adjustments
