#### Requirements
- Active CIDB grading of 9GB (8GB PE not eligible) and ability to register within 21 working days if not already registered.
- VAT vendor; prices quoted VAT inclusive; VAT registration proof if required; SARS/CSD tax compliance verification.
- Evidence of local establishment in KwaZulu-Natal (Proof of office within the area; e.g., title deed, lease, municipal bill within 3 months).
- Attendance at the Compulsory Briefing (11 September 2026, 11:00 at Thathezakhe Special School); one person per entity at briefing.
- Completion and submission of mandatory documents: SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1, SBD7.2, POPI consent, Authority to sign, JV/consortium documents if applicable.
- Letter of intent to enter into a Joint Venture or signed JV agreement (if applicable); separate SBD4 for each JV party.
- Construction Health and Safety: appoint a SACPCMP-registered CHSO/CHSM with 10+ years’ experience; implement Health & Safety and Environmental management per CDC’s Health & Safety Specification (CDC-SBU-SPC-032-25).
- Tender validity: 16 weeks; bid price must align with CIDB and BBBEE requirements (SANAS B-BBEE verification as applicable).
- 90/10 preference with BBBEE; provide SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate; JV certificates must be consolidated with individual certificates.
- Sub-contracting commitments to QSEs/ EMEs in targeted area (uMzinyathi/District) using Form K.
- Required insurer letter of intent for Performance Bond.
