## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of design, supply, repairs, modification, installation, testing and commissioning of traction and distribution substations on an as-and-when-required basis for 24 months across the Cape & Ore Corridors.** Suitable bidders are electrical and civil engineering contractors with NEC3 Term Service Contract experience and capabilities to deliver substations (3kV DC, 25kV/50kV AC traction; 11kV/6.6kV AC distribution). Key qualifications include registered professional engineers (ECSA) and a demonstrated project team, health and safety and environmental management capacity, and local content compliance. - Key personnel with registered Electrical and Civil engineers (ECSA) and CVs (Project Organogram with CVs; references) (see T2.2-05).

- Local Content compliance and CIDB-related annexes (T2.2-18 and Annex G) and proof of compliance. 
- Availability of resources, equipment, subcontractors and site establishment details (T2.2-08, T2.2-15, T2.2-16). 
- Compliance with contractual and legal requirements (breach-of-law declaration; POPIA; NDAs; integrity pacts) (T2.2-21, T2.2-23, T2.2-25).
