**EOI for Provision of Research Services in Collaboration with the CSIR in the Radio Frequency (RF) Development Domain for a period of five years.** CSIR aims to panel qualified providers who can deliver specialised RF research—antenna design, RF simulation, RF measurement, RF propagation (HF/NVIS/sea-surface), field communications, and RF-enabled terrestrial/maritime/UAV/satellite applications—on a as-needed basis for five financial years (2026/27–2030/31). Suitable bidders are entities with RF/electronic engineering capability and a track record in RF design, evaluation, and related R&D (including consultants, research entities, and companies) and who can meet the CSIR’s compliance requirements.

#### Requirements
- Qualifications and experience: **electronic/electrical engineering qualifications**; **experience in RF design and evaluation**; demonstrated RF simulation design/analyses; RF measurement experience; up-to-date company profile and references.
- Compliance and registrations: registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD); Tax Compliance Status (TCS) or SARS PIN; where applicable, separate TCS/CSD for JV partners; BBBEE documentation; company registration certificates.
- Documentation: pricing schedule and specific goals credentials submitted separately; mandatory returnable documents as listed in Annexure E; signed authority for proposals.
- Other: compliance with fronting and confidentiality rules; POPI data protections commitments where applicable.
- Sourcing mechanics: documents are to be submitted via CSIR tender email; cloud transfers not accepted for initial submission; English documentation.
