## Summary

#### Overview
**Nkangala District Municipality invites bids for a 36-month turnkey programme to source funds at risk and implement bulk community electrification distribution.** The opportunity targets service providers with proven experience in municipal financing, project funding, and delivering electrification or related initiatives, including five-plus years in local government finance/accounting, and the capacity to produce an implementation plan and project charter.

#### Requirements
- Proven experience in sourcing municipal funds and delivering bulk electrification or similar projects.
- At least five years’ experience in local government finance accounting and reporting.
- Ability to provide an implementation plan/pre-award project charter and proof of prior similar work (company profile and references).
- Professional Indemnity Insurance of at least R100,000 per claim.
- Compliance with POPI, tax, and governance requirements (MBD forms, POPI notice, declarations; SARS Tax Compliance Status or CSD status).
- If bidding as a consortium/JV: special resolution and JV agreement documents; complete required JV disclosures.
- Central Supplier Database (CSD) report or Tax Compliance Status per bid requirements.
