## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of fabrication and installation of the S07 steel structure for Transnet Port Terminals in Richards Bay; CIDB-registered bidders (3SL or higher) with compulsory briefing should bid.** This is a one-off RFQ open to qualified steel fabrication/erection contractors.

#### Requirements
- CIDB grading 3SL or higher; pre-qualify before evaluation.  
- Attend compulsory briefing/clarification session.  
- Be CIDB-registered and meet pre-qualification criteria; provide proof (e.g., CIDB designation).  
- Submit with bid: valid Tax Clearance, CIDB certificate, B-BBEE status (SANAS certificate or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs), Central Supplier Database registration, and Workmen’s Compensation Fund good standing.  
- Evidence of relevant experience (minimum four POs > R450k in past 2 years) and coded welders (4 certificates) as part of evaluation.  
- Returnable documents and confirmation of attendance at the compulsory meeting (T2.2-02).  
- Tender validity period: 12 weeks; no late submissions accepted.  
- Preference points: 80/20 system (price 80; B-BBEE and specific goals up to 20).  
- No alternative tenders; English tender; may require due diligence/verification.
