## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of a comprehensive eco-friendly cleaning, hygiene and pest-control service for the New Observatory Forensic Pathology Institute (OFPI) under the Department of Health, Western Cape Government, for five years.** Open to service providers with health-facility cleaning experience and the ability to use sustainable products; includes CSD/tax/B-BBEE compliance, GCC, OHS, and required site-operations capabilities (see WCGHSC0224/2026).

#### Requirements
- Mandatory attendance at information session and site inspection (22 July 2026, 13:00, OFPI Auditorium; doors locked at 13:00).  
- Bid must be on official forms, in a sealed envelope, deposited at the Department of Health bid box (Karl Bremer Hospital) before closing. Late bids excluded.  
- Eligibility/compliance: registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), tax compliance (SARS PIN or TCS), and submission of B-BBEE WCBD6.1 and WCBD4; contract签 WCBD7.1; GCC; OHS documentation.  
- Staffing/operational requirements: locally based office; adequate cleaning staff including relief; minimum core staff levels; training; rosters; timekeeping; discipline and conduct standards; wage compliance; health facility experience (2+ years preferred).  
- Sustainability/safety: use of eco-friendly, SABS/SANS-compliant products; MSDS for all chemicals; packaging and waste considerations; staff vaccination where applicable; color-coded equipment; ongoing hygiene audits.
