## Summary

#### Overview
**Design, Manufacture, Supply & Install New Superheater Tube Bank for Economizer for A-Plant at Sulphuric Acid Plant shutdown.** This call targets heavy engineering/service providers with relevant certifications (CIDB 6ME; ECSA competent engineer/technologist; SANAS-accredited AIA; SAIW Welding Inspector Level 2; ISO3834). See Annexure C for RFP specifics.

#### Requirements
- CIDB registration: 6ME (Principal Contractor)  
- ECSA: Registered Pr. Engineer/Technologist as Competent Person for designs  
- SANAS: Accredited AIA certificate  
- SAIW: Welding & Fabrication Inspector Level 2  
- ISO3834 Certification  
- Safety: SACPCMP registration, Safety Plan, and Safety Officer qualifications  
- Demonstrable experience: prior superheater design/refurbishment; delivery plan and QA capability  
- Returnable documents and compliance to RFP terms (minimum technical threshold of 70% to progress)

#### How to Apply
- Submission deadline: 11 August 2026 at 12:00 (bid validity 60 days).  
- Submission method: hard copies to Foskor’s bid box at 21 John Ross Highway, Richards Bay, and/or PDF to tenderrbay@foskor.co.za (max 5 MB). USB submissions are optional (must be exact copy of hard copy; see Annexure C).  
- Documents to submit: use official forms (SBD 1, etc.) and all returnable documents (Section 5: Pricing, Delivery Schedule, etc.).  
- Registrations pre-qualification: register on CSD prior to bidding; provide SARS Tax Compliance status (PIN) or CSD number if no TCS; ensure tax compliance throughout. For joint ventures, each party must meet requirements.  
- Briefing: No briefing session (see Annexure C).  
- Where to obtain: RFP documents include Annexures A–F; file package available with the ZIP in the attached documents (see Annexure C).  
- Note: The bid process may be subject to post-tender negotiations and market-related pricing; pricing must be in ZAR, VAT inclusive.
