#### Overview
**The Gariep Power Station Fire Detection System Contract is a construction tender to design, supply, install, test and commission a fire detection system at Gariep Power Station.** Open to bidders with relevant fire-detection/industrial electrical capabilities and must meet Eskom CIDB, security and compliance requirements. #### Requirements
- CIDB: 3SF or higher (or a compliant JV structure with each member registered; lead partner 2SF or higher and aggregate 3SF or higher). 
- Eligibility: no sanctions nationality, no conflict of interest, no improper subcontracting (100% sub-contracting not allowed).
- Contract form: NEC3 – Term Service Contract (TSC3); security clearances for contractor and personnel.
- Pre-qualifications: CIDB registration readiness within ~21 working days; CSDG/CPG where applicable; Tax Evaluation questionnaire.
- Returnables: complete SBD forms, Integrity/CPA declarations, Local/Imported Content schedules (where applicable), pricing schedule, Scope of Work and quality documents (Attachments 4A–12, 13–28 as listed).
- Functionality: threshold of 80% for functionality; comprehensive bid with commercial, financial and technical information.
- Site/clarification: mandatory site visit and clarification; attendance is required for evaluation.
- Payment terms: Eskom standard terms applicable; detailed in tender data.
