## Summary

#### Overview
**The procurement is for the supply and delivery (purchase) of woodchippers, as and when required, for a period of one year.** Bidders should be equipment suppliers capable of delivering two woodchippe r models that meet the specifications, provide required licensing, road-worthiness compliance, training, a 12-month warranty, data sheets, and post-sale support. Preference will be given under PPPFA 2022 with 80 points for price and 20 for B-BBEE and specific goals.

#### Requirements
- Woodchippers must be delivered within 120 days after order and delivered to the George Municipal Fleet Management office in George.
- Fully licensed and compliant with road regulations; chippers must be NATIS-registered and meet SABS/NATIS requirements; standard SABS number plate holder; no supplier branding on the unit.
- Warranty of 12 months (excluding deliberate damage); warranty and rust management plan provided on delivery; data sheet for each unit supplied.
- Operator training on delivery date (or a second training session if needed); attendance certificate required.
- Pricing schedule must be used as provided; options for one or both woodchippers; prices inclusive of VAT, licensing, and all costs; prices firm for tender period.
- B-BBEE certificates (original or certified copies) and compliance documentation; CSD registration; TCS PIN; tax clearance; CIDB details if applicable (for consortium/joint venture).
- Past experience schedule completed; official tender forms to be used (not re-typed); GCC and any Special Conditions apply.
- An alternative bidder may be appointed for each option.
