#### Overview
**The NMISA invites quotes for Hazardous Waste Management services to collect, transport, recycle and dispose of hazardous waste generated at NMISA sites in Pretoria (CSIR Scientia Campus) and Cape Town (CSIR Scientia Campus).** Bidder should have hazardous waste management capability, licenses and registrations (e.g., Waste Management Licence, SAWIS registration, transporter permits) and experience with public sector or scientific laboratories, plus ISO 14001/45001 compliance and NMISA SHE requirements.

#### Requirements
- Valid Waste Management Licence, SAWIS registration, and licenses for disposal/treatment/recycling facilities; proof of contracts with landfill/recycling facilities; evidence of facility registrations and accounts.
- Registration with Gauteng and WC Waste Information System as a hazardous waste transporter; proof of licensed landfill/waste facility and relationship with chosen facility.
- Compliance with NEMA Waste Act, OHSA, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, municipal by-laws, Waste Classification and Management Regulations, SANS/ GN standards; ability to adapt to regulatory changes.
- Certified personnel for hazardous waste handling, classification and transport; experience with public entities or laboratories preferred.
- ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 alignment; NMISA SHE procedures; compulsory safety induction; risk assessment submission with SHE file.
- Capacity to operate in Pretoria and Cape Town; provision of receptacles/equipment and recycling/rebate planning; deliverables including waste disposal certificates, manifests, quarterly/annual reports, and final integrated report.
- Minimum references for similar projects; pricing evaluated via standard NMISA processes (80/20 or 90/10) based on score.
