- Regulatory/EPC: comply with National Energy Act EPC requirements; display EPC at the building and submit to SANEDI; EPC validity up to 5 years; occupancy or occupation certificates where applicable.
- Maintenance and occupancy history: comprehensive maintenance plan for the lease period; if previously occupied by government departments, provide a reference letter; engage subcontractors with local jobs and ensure municipal compliance.
- Compliance and procurement: registration on Central Supplier Database (CSD); tax compliance with SARS PIN; bid on official forms (no retyping); 80/20 preference with 20 for specific goals (10 Black Ownership, 10 Women ownership) with documentary proof.
