**RFQ for design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of a comprehensive irrigation system at Ncome Museum, Ohaleni, Nquthu, KwaZulu-Natal.** Suitable bidders are irrigation contractors with CIDB GB 1 (or higher) and proven experience in similar installations, capable of training museum staff and providing handover documentation; must be registered with CSD, have a valid tax clearance, and comply with BBBEE requirements. #### Requirements
- Technical and Financial Proposals with a detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ).  
- Technical content: company profile; relevant irrigation installation experience; at least three similar projects in the last five years; proposed methodology and implementation programme; product specs; warranties and after-sales support; as-built drawings and maintenance manuals; training plan.  
- Financial content: detailed quotation covering design, pipes/fittings, valves, sprinklers/drip components, controllers, electrical works, trenching, testing/commissioning, training, VAT, and total project cost.  
- Documentation and pre-qualifications: company registration (CIPC), BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, proof of CSD registration, valid Tax Compliance PIN, CIDB certificate with GB 1 grading, completed SBD4 form, completed SBD6.1 (Preference Points) form, COIDA certificate, and three referees for similar projects.  
- Project governance: adherence to water management, automated scheduling where applicable, and easy operation/maintenance by museum staff.  
- Site-specific needs: verify irrigation zones, water pressure/flow, and BOQ at the compulsory site briefing (Annex A/B provide indicative areas; final design to be verified on site).  
- Preference points: 80/20 system with specific goals (Black Ownership 12, Women Owned 4, Youth Owned 2, Disability Owned 2) and supporting documentation. (SBD 6.1 document)
