## Summary

#### Overview
**RFQ to appoint a Spatial Audio Engineer to install and configure AV elements, calibrate sound systems, and perform spatial/multi-channel mixing for three artworks across Iziko exhibitions (MTN UJ New Contemporaries and Amanzi eAfrica).** The scope includes acoustic assessment, AV installation, system calibration, and on-site mixing of discrete multichannel works, plus basic audio editing, soundscape production, looping, and mastering as detailed in Annexure A.

#### Requirements
- Proven experience in sound installation, exhibition acoustics, loudspeaker calibration, and on-site mixing of multi-channel works (as per Annexure A).  
- Ability to perform acoustic assessment, AV installation, system calibration, and spatial audio mixing for three artworks; basic editing, looping, mastering for one installation.  
- Compliance with on-site practices: compulsory site visit, on-site measurements, dimension verification, and adherence to National Building Regulations SANS 10400.  
- Administrative/compliance: complete SBD4 Bid Disclosure and SBD6.1 Preference Points form; provide CSD number and BBEEE status; pricing (Incl. VAT) and documentation as required.
