#### Overview
**This Request for Information (RFI) seeks market input to develop a NEV Deal Book for the JET IP New Energy Vehicles PMO hosted at the IDC.** It is an information-gathering exercise, not a tender or contract. It targets organisations active across the NEV value chain (mobility, logistics, infrastructure, battery value chain, automotive assembly and components, mobility software/digital platforms, energy, recycling, etc.) to contribute project inputs, investment opportunities and partnership prospects at varying readiness levels in South Africa.

Submission deadline (RFI53-09-26): 19 October 2026, 11:00 SA time. Responses are intended to inform deal-book development and investor engagement.

#### Requirements
- Respondents must complete the RFI response sheet with applicable fields, marking “Not yet available” where unknown.
- Quote the RFI number (RFI53-09-26) in all correspondence/submissions.
- Information submitted will be processed under POPIA; mark confidential/commercially sensitive sections clearly.
- IDC may seek clarification; responses do not imply a project award or commitment.
- Submissions are for information only; inclusion in the NEV Deal Book is not guaranteed and depends on relevance and completeness.
- No costs are borne by IDC for responding; respondents bear their own costs.
