#### Requirements
- At least two years’ manual thinning/hand-rolling experience with reference letters.
- Compliance with FESA guidelines and SAFCOL standards (BOPs, Integrated Management System, SAF COL SHEQ, FSC; applicable laws).
- Equipment team: ≥7 chainsaw operators, ≥10 manual stackers, ≥8 log scalers/pushers; machines in good order; SAQA-certified chainsaw training with yearly refreshers.
- Labour: local sourcing where practical; valid SA ID/work permit; compliant with labour laws; WCA good standing and UIF; minimum wage; proper employment contracts; medical screenings; current training certificates.
- Ancillary gear: PPE per SAFCOL; EN381-5 compliant chainsaw trousers; appropriate gloves; fire protection gear; radios; First Aid kit.
- Vehicles: valid licences and PrDP for drivers; roadworthy vehicles; Certificates of Fitness; enclosed canopy; safety harness where possible.
- Safety/Legal: comply with SAFCOL SHEQ and product specs; on-site trained First Aider (level 2), SHE Rep, Safety Officer.
- Pricing: all-inclusive R/m³ (VAT included) for 3,000 m³; payment on roadside on delivery.
- Returnable documents: completed RFQ on letterhead; latest tax clearance; SANAS BBBEE (or EME/QSE sworn affidavit); CK documents; CSD report or MAAA number.

- Evaluation: Phase 1 administrative; Phase 2 mandatory (two years’ forestry thinning experience with reference letters); Phase 3 price (80) and specific goals (20). Specific goals include 51%+ Black Owned entities (20 points).
