## Summary

#### Overview
**MV underground medium-voltage cable fault location, repair and testing at Driefontein WWTW, including related materials and site works.** Johannesburg Water invites bids from electrical/infrastructure contractors with MV installation, fault location and testing capabilities, CIDB 1 EP or higher, and relevant registrations. The scope includes supply of MV cables/jointing kits and labour for excavation, pavement work, fault location, testing, and MV switching.

#### Requirements
- Valid registration as an electrical contractor (Installation Electrician) for 3-phase installations.
- CIDB grading of 1 EP (or higher) with certificate/letter submitted with RFQ.
- Proven completion of at least one project involving fault location/tracing, repair and testing of 11kV cable (client reference with contact details).
- Ownership or valid lease for MV cable fault locator and for MV pressure tester/VLF tester.
- Valid Electrical Trade certificate or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and MV jointing certificate.
- Valid ORHVS (Authorized Person) certificate for MV Operator (x1).
- BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; CSD registration; taxes; MBD forms; Joint Venture documents if applicable.
- Quotes must be on company letterhead, with all BOQ/specs completed, and include all taxes.
