#### Overview
**Procurement of OpenStack Cluster Support Services** to deploy, optimize and support SANSA’s OpenStack cluster (Hartebeeshoek) with a multi-node, multi-vendor environment. Ideal bidders: firms with enterprise OpenStack deployment experience, design/architecture capabilities, automation and DevOps practices, monitoring, security/compliance expertise, and fixed 2-year support; contract value is up to R50m with potential extension.

#### Requirements
- Proven experience deploying and supporting large-scale OpenStack in production (multi compute/GPU nodes; petabyte-scale storage).
- Architecture and deployment capabilities for high-availability OpenStack; familiarity with distributions (e.g., Red Hat, Canonical).
- Hands-on knowledge of OpenStack services (Keystone, Barbican, Designate, Horizon, Cinder, Glance, Nova, Swift, Neutron, Magnum, Ironic) and Ceph.
- Automation/DevOps: Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Kolla; CI/CD for OpenStack configuration and lifecycle.
- Monitoring/Observability: integrate Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch.
- Security/Compliance: implement best-practice security models; 24/7 incident response for critical issues; defined SLAs.
- Deliverables cover Design, Implementation, Testing, Training (remote or on-site), and Maintenance (2-year support with potential yearly extension); minimum project team of three (two seniors).
