- Public Liability Insurance minimum R5M (compulsory)
- Audited annual financial statements for the past 3 years for bids above R10m (compulsory)
- COIDA good standing letter (compulsory)
- No awards to persons not registered on the Central Supplier Database; compliance with service-of-state restrictions (as specified)
