## Summary

#### Overview
**Panel of Building Contractors for a period of three (3) years**. Ingquza Hill Local Municipality invites bids for building projects under JBCC 2000 (Edition 4.1). CIDB grading: GB 3 – 8. Suitable for building contractors with CIDB registration GB 3–8, capacity to manage multiple/ labour-intensive works, and ability to provide plant/equipment, insurance, and financial/administrative compliance. JV submissions are not eligible.

#### Requirements
- CIDB registration: GB 3–8 (or higher) and not eligible for joint ventures.
- Labour-intensive/EPWP capability: competent management and supervisory staff; provide named personnel on request; LIC NQF level 5 for key roles; Health & Safety staff with SAMTRAC.
- Returnable documents and certifications: CIDB certificate, Tax Clearance (MBD 2), SARS TCS PIN (or CSD number if no TCS), Company profile, declarations (e.g., MBD 1-9), Certified IDs for directors, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
- Pre-qualification criteria: documented evidence of contractor experience, project history, methodology, and plant/equipment (NATIS certificates for ownership or supplier letters for hire).
- Insurance and bonds: full contract insurance; insurer to provide a performance bond (certificate/letter of intent required).
- Compliance: sign-off on Conflict of Interest declarations; compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act; compensation fund registration.
