## Summary

#### Overview
**The SABC seeks to establish a panel of service providers for the procurement of professional engineering services on an ad hoc basis for a period of three years.** The panel covers disciplines including civil/structural, electrical, mechanical, electronics, fire, architectural and quantity surveying, for the maintenance of the SABC's nationwide property portfolio. Eligible bidders must be registered with relevant professional bodies (ECSA or SACQSP) and meet BBBEE and regulatory requirements. #### Requirements
- Valid professional registrations: ECSA for Electrical/Mechanical (Pr. Eng/Technologist) and SACQSP where applicable.
- Tax and BBBEE: SARS PIN, valid BBBEE certificate (SANAS), with annual affidavit for EMEs/QSEs as applicable.
- Compliance documents: Proof of TV license for company and directors, certified company registration, shareholders’ certificates, and directors’ IDs.
- Financials: Last three years audited/reviewed financial statements or management accounts.
- CSD registration and other standard bid documentation (SARS, TV license, etc.).
- Compliance with OH&S (Act 85 of 1993), Construction Regulations, municipal by-laws, and relevant SANS codes; professional indemnity, COIDA, and safety practices.
- Confidentiality and indemnity obligations; reports must be signed by a registered engineer; IP rights vest in SABC.
- BBBEE: Maintain or improve the level at the time of award; specific goals apply for B-BBEE points.
- Duration and validity: Bid remains valid for 180 days from closing date. 
- Optional: Completion of Schedule of Quantities and other standard bid forms (e.g., SBDs).
