## Summary

#### Overview
**Procurement of Participation in Proficiency Testing (PT) samples for Organochlorine Pesticides in surface water for chemistry laboratories, including delivery of PT samples, spiking solutions, and surface water matrix.** The contract targets suppliers able to provide PT samples and related services; open tender by the Department of Water and Sanitation. Compulsory briefing is required. Submissions are electronic (to Mafuner@dws.gov.za) by the closing date. PT samples are to be delivered to Resource Quality Information Services (RQIS), Roodeplaat Dam, Pretoria. 

#### Requirements
- Provide PT samples for Organochlorine pesticides in surface water, plus spiking solution and 1000 ml surface water; deliver four times per year with quarterly rounds; include robust statistical reports (z-scores) for each group. 
- Submit on official forms with firm prices (pricing schedule), and comply with GCC/GCC-like terms and contract conditions; be prepared for price negotiations with the successful bidder.
- Tax/compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD registration; CSD number if no TCS; BBBEE requirements (SBD 4/6.1). Not in service of state entities where applicable.
- Ensure ability to comply with delivery, testing/inspection, and documentation requirements as per standard contract terms (GCC/SCC).
