## Summary

#### Overview
**The Kenya National Highways Authority invites bids for a PERFORMANCE BASED CONTRACT FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY ENHANCEMENT OF KISIAN – AHERO (A12) ROAD.** Open to construction firms registered with the National Construction Authority in categories NCA 3, 4 or 5, funded through the Road Maintenance Fuel Levy Fund (RMLF). Target bidders should have road maintenance/repair capability, and comply with Kenya public procurement rules.

#### Requirements
- Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
- Copy of Valid NCA Annual Practising Licence (categories 3–5)
- Copy of Valid Tax Compliance Certificate
- Copy of recent CR 12 form (issued within last 6 months)
- Serialise all tender pages (as required in the tender notes)
- Copy of PBC Certificate for at least one director
- Evidence of similar experience; competent professional/technical personnel; current workload
- Compliance with PPADA 2015 and related fairness rules; prohibition on canvassing
- Maximum of two tenders per bidder; directors with ongoing works are ineligible; no cross-participation for same tender via multiple entities
- Local/foreign input rules: foreign tenderers to source at least 40% locally
- NCA registration and related pre-qualification as per tender data sheet
